The Building Certification System - A Tool of Sustainable Development of University Campuses

Abstract The study is part of humanity's current concerns tempering climate change for sustainable development, in the context where construction sector responsible a significant percentage greenhouse gas emissions. In present work, through rigorous documentation, authors synthesize several existing green and building certification systems. Extending from buildings to neighbourhoods, university campuses even cities, models their development are highlighted. summarize results various "green" ratings, initiating "Top 10 Greenest Universities world", demonstrating interest classification. paper presents case University Oradea.
